My favorite part was picking fresh strawberries and eating them right there in the garden. The taste of those strawberries was unlike anything I had ever experienced before. Each bite was sweet and juicy, bursting with flavor.

Another highlight of our visits to the farm was the daily egg hunt. My grandparents had a flock of chickens that laid eggs every day. My siblings and I would eagerly collect the eggs in the morning, searching for hidden nests in the coop. It was always exciting to see how many eggs we could find each day. My grandmother would use the eggs to make delicious breakfast dishes like omelettes and pancakes. I will always remember the taste of those eggs, so fresh and flavorful.

In the evenings, we would sit around the dinner table as a family and share stories about our day. My grandparents would tell us tales from their own childhoods, sharing valuable wisdom and life lessons. I treasure those moments of connection and laughter with my family. The sense of togetherness and love that surrounded us during those summer visits is something I will always hold dear.

As the years passed, our visits to the farm became less frequent. My grandparents grew older, and the farm became more difficult to maintain. Eventually, they had to sell the farm and move into a smaller house in town. Though I miss those carefree days of my childhood, I am grateful for the memories we created on the farm. The lessons I learned about hard work, nature, and family will stay with me forever."
